Heidi Klum (pronounced as “Kloom”) was born on June 1 of year 1973 in Berhisch- Gladback, North Rhine- Westphalia in Germany. Her current height measures to 5’9 ¼” or 1.76cm high. Heidi Klum’s career as a top fashion model and super star in the swimsuit industry began almost by accident when she submitted photos to a model competition hosted by a young woman’s magazine named Petra. She obviously won the competition and signed a contract with Metropolitan, one of Germany’s top modeling agency. She modelled in Europe for a few years and was a huge success, but after a year she went to the United States to pursue her modelling career there and was discovered for the famous Victoria’s Secret agent. This great opportunity brought Heidi Klum to the pinnacle of modeling and in the year 1998, she was commented as one of the world’s top models for the Sports Illustrated annual Swimsuit issue. Along with her growing career came great marketing opportunities including having her own signature lines of perfume, jewelry and sandals. She has made designs in the collections for Mouawad jewelry and Birkenstock shoes.

Heidi Klum tried her luck in Hollywood just like most models, but she was lucky enough to get into shows. She did not only appear in TV in the USA but also in Germany along with several small parts in movies including her playing the role of a Swiss bombshell Ursula Andress in the movie The Life and Death of Peter Sellers in year 2004. In her personal life, Heidi Klum was married to Ric Pipino but got their divorce in the year 2002 and she remarried on May of 2005 to a British singer Seal bearing 4 children. Klum and Seal became engaged on December 23, 2004 at a the beautiful mountain resort in Canada and got married on a beach in Mexico on May 10, 2005. It was spectacular for her wedding dress was designed by Vera Wang. Aside from their 4 kids, Heidi Klum bore a beautiful girl named Leni from her previous boyfriend. It was reportedly that Seal treats Heidi's daughter, Leni, like his own child. 

She is best known for her figure that stays young and healthy even after having her 5 kids but she is most of all known for her down- to- earth personality as a model.She was named one of the 50 Most Beautiful People by in the year 2001 for People Magazine. She is Victoria’s Secret’s spokes model and voted top 9 on the Top 100 Sexiest Women in 2004 for FHM. She was named #57 on the Maxim magazine for Hot 100 in the year 2005. Her long and silky legs are insured for a total of 2 million dollars per year. Keeping her good luck, she keeps a small bag full of the teeth she lost as a child. In her beauty and achievements, there is a rose named after her, commonly known as the Heidi Klum rose. Currently she is the host of the famous show called Project Runway.
