Ciara - USA Celebrity, Singer

Ciara Princess Harris or who is commonly known as CIARA was born on October 25, 1985 in Austin, Texas. Her father named Carlton was able to show her numerous places such as Germany, California, Nevada, Arizona and New York.  When she was just a little girl they were able to settle in Atlanta. Her mother named Jackie was part of the air force, though both of her parents were in the military that never came into her mind for a profession.

Ciara wanted to be a model before being a singer but her love for music came all over and her voice was formed. The famous all girl band Destiny’s Child inspired her to become a singer on her own. She was very serious in wanting to be famous singer, she gave up all other activities such as watching movies, talking to friends on the phone and even broke up with her boyfriend just so that he can focus on being a famous singer. During her high school years she was voted as most likely to be famous considering that she was once a cheerleader for their school. She graduated from Riverdale High School in Georgia back in 2003.

There was a time that she joined a small group called Hearsay that performed in Atlanta but this was short lived. Her first recording deal was solo so she grabbed it right away. It was sudden that at 16 year old grab an opportunity with Atlanta producer Jazze Pha which signed Ciara to hi Sho’ Nuff record after training with her for 5 days. Ciara dubbed as the lady of the song Crunk and B. She was the one who wrote the song ‘Goodies’ in which she is very proud of. She wrote a demo with Sean Garrett the songwriter and who was the co- writer of the song “yeah!” by Usher.  When she was 15 years of age, Ciara wrote a song entitled “And I”.

Ciara is well- known for her soprano which sounds very breathy for most artists. She was also referred to as the Princess of Crunk&B. Ciara and Bow Wow remains close for they have had many years together as friends, she was even accompanied by the rapper back in 2005 for the MTV Video Music Awards.

Ciara was ranked number 72 on the Maxim Magazine Hot 100 of the year 2007 list. As of 2010, Ciara sold over 17.9 Million albums which make her one of the most famous singers of her generation. Because of her success in the music industry, Ciara was honoured as Billboard’s “Woman of the Year” back in 2008. In the year 2009, Ciara was chosen to be number 4 of the Most Beautiful People in the World according to People Magazine. So far she was nominated numerous times in the Grammy awards but ever since she won 1 award.
