Natalia Vodianova – Russian Celebrity, Model

Natalia Vodianova was born on 28th February 1982 in Gorky which is Russia's 3rd largest city and she is a Russian supermodel. She & Fredrik Ljungberg are in a commercial for Calvin Klein.  She lived with her mother & two half-sisters in unpleasant conditions. Her mother's abusive boyfriends & a tight financial situation dogged her throughout childhood.

Helping her mother with her fruit stall’s business at the tender age of eleven, Vodianova moved into her own apartment with a friend at fifteen years old. They started their personal fruit stall to help out the struggling family & were actually quite victorious, all things considered. They were able to help out Natalia Vodianova's sisters.

Just before moving, Natalia Vodianova enrolled in a modeling academy, where she learned ladylike behavior & etiquette. Fortunately, she also went to casting opportunities, & one day, she caught the eye of a scouting agent from Paris. That person told her that a great future was in store for her; all she had to do was learn English in 3 months.

Convinced that Vodianova’s life could change for the better, she did just that. At seventeen, she moved to Paris to struggle her hand at modeling. Delighted to work, she was a daydream client for the Viva agency & was an inspired woman.

When she was nineteen years old, she made headway in modeling but still hadn’t made it big. For some time, she was distracted but, after falling in love with & marrying British real-estate heir the Hon Justin Trevor Berkeley Portman, a half-brother of the Tenth Viscount Portman.

She gave birth to their son Lucas Alexander Berkeley Portman on 22nd December, 2001, & posed with her baby in Vogue magazine. During September, 2002 Natalia & Justin married in a plentiful ceremony in Saint Petersburg.

Soon, Natalia Vodianova's phone was ringing off the hook then Gucci made her the new face for their perfume line behind she had more than forty runway shows under her belt, & then Calvin Klein called to employ her for their big Spring show. She was formally the hot new face in town & even made a brief look in Roman Coppola's film CQ by Billy Zane.

Now, with campaigns for Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton 's collection & his fragrance, Euphoria, & Miss Sixty to her name, Natalia Vodianova is a true supermodel.  During October, 2005, Natalia & her husband announced they are expecting their 2ndchild.

She has also a daughter named Neva and she was born on March 24, 2006, weighing 7 pounds and she is named for the Neva River in Saint-Petersburg at Russia. Her other son Victor was born on 13^th September 2007. 

Natalia Vodianova’s husband Justin Portman is also a professional artist, & often travels with wife & their children. Her husband's family estate is in Herefordshire at England. She’s the face of Calvin Klein. She has worked for many model Agencies such as NY-DNA, Milan-Why Not, London-ICM, Paris-Viva etc. She was ranked 16 in Channel 5's "World's greatest supermodel".

Natalia Vodianova's husband is the son of a Viscount & scion of one of Britain's richest real estate families which owns huge swathes of London and he chooses not to use his father’s title.

The print ad which launched Natalia Vodianova's career was while she became the face of "Gucci Envy" fragrance.
