Eva Padberg – German Celebrity, Actress, Singer, Model

Eva Padberg was born on 27th January, 1980, in Bad Frankenhausen at Germany. Blessed with dazzling blue eyes and beautiful blonde hair, it was not long before she caught the eye of talent scouts upon entering her 1st modeling contest in 1995. In spite of a complete lack of experience, she managed to place in the top ten and shortly won a coveted modeling contract with a prominent agency in Munich, Louisa Models.

Following 3 years of occasional gigs, Eva Padberg committed herself to modeling full time in 1998 after graduating from high school and her new focus clearly paid off; within months, she was getting high-profile jobs in Paris, Milan and Tokyo.

1999 brought with it even more travel like Eva invaded New York. In addition to attending her 1st New York Fashion Week, arguably the chief event of the fashion year, Eva Padberg also modeled for Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren & Calvin Klein.

Eva Padberg’s growing reputation led to her 1st major spokesmodel position in 2000, while Palmers Lingerie wisely chose her to be the face of their autumn or winter campaign. She also increased her international exposure over the next 2 years with succulent pictorials in Face, Marie Claire, Gloss, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Vogue, & Madame, among others.

Reluctant to become known as just another model, Eva Padberg broke out of the traditional mold in 2003 when she released her 1st album with Niklas Worgt, her long-time boyfriend. The self-produced disc, entitled Dirty White, has been described as “a colorful music mixture” that unites Worgt’s minimalist techno sounds with Eva’s breathy, fragile vocals.

Eva Padberg’s versatility naturally made her a well-liked guest on German talk shows, & she spent much of 2004 appearing on programs as TV Total while also helping to anchor Germany’s Star Search jury. Fortunately for us, she did not abandon modeling altogether & she made a mainly memorable appearance in the May, 2004 issue of Playboy. She was also selected as the spokes model for Astor, an admired cosmetics company previously represented by supermodels Gisele Bundche and Heidi Klum n.

Eva Padberg kicked off the following year with a bevy of magazine appearances, counting sexy spreads in publications as Cosmopolitan, Elle, Glamour & perhaps most memorably, the German version of FHM. In addition to putting Eva Padberg on its cover, the racy men’s mag chose her to headline its list of the hundred Sexiest Women in the World.

Already one of the world’s top models, Eva Padberg set her sights on becoming one of the planet’s most recognizable movie stars while she was cast in ‘In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale’ in 2007. Based upon the best-selling game sequence Dungeon Siege, the movie also stars Burt Reynolds, Ray Liotta, John Rhys-Davies and Jason Statham.
