Adrianne Curry, the 1st winner of “America’s Next Top Model” of Tyra Banks, has propelled her career onward in ventures outside of model. At five feet ten inches tall, the Illinois native, Joliet was one of the youngest competitors on the 2003 debut model reality show, her birthday being on 6th August, 1982. Once aspiring, the green-eyed model had a checkered path to the reality show celebrity she has today.


Adrianne Curry has been very illuminating publicly about her troubled past. At 5 years old, she was molested. After that during her teen years she was raped, prompting her descending spiral into the cutting addictions, heroin, & cocaine. Working as a waitress prior to her “America’s Next Top Model” then she dropped out of Joliet West High School in 1999 merely to go on & earn a GED. After doing so, she pursued modeling however was met with several scam artists who take advantage of hopeful models & their finances. Crucially in 2003, the beauty of Italian descent decided to go to rehab specially to rid herself of her addictions before auditioning for “America’s Next Top Model” and her eclectic character, she’s a huge fan of Pink Floyd & owned a childhood pet snake, made her stand out among another models. Her wild child ways was rather off-putting to the judges on the show, but in the end her personality ingratiated her to them & helped her win the competition. 

 

Following her win, Adrianne Curry didn’t receive the print ad campaign that was the promised remuneration for whoever would become the winner of the “America’s Next Top Model” contest and for this; Adrianne has a very conflict-filled relationship with Tyra Banks & has publicly criticized the recognized model & the show itself. Tyra Banks has never mentioned or has ever invited Adrianne Curry back to the show despite having invited other past show winners. Adrianne Curry was, however, used as a model in makeup instructional videos for the Revlon Company. She went on to star in the VH1 celebrity show Surreal Life in 2005 after “America’s Next Top Model” and here she met her future husband, the ex- cast member of the Brady Bunch & twenty five years her senior, Christopher Knight. The pair did their own reality show “My Fair Brady” named then on the show’s season finale in 2005, Christopher Knight proposed to Adrianne Curry and they were married in 2006 & starred in a documentary of their trip jointly to Russia which is “From Russia with Love”. 

 

 










In 2007, amid a bunch of television guest star appearances on shows like the magician show “Mind Freak”, she made an appearance on “DIRT” with Courtney Cox. Adrianne Curry even continued to dabble in modeling by walking in designer Anne Bowen’s show in 2005 in addition to Von Dutch’s & Jamie Pressly’s. Andrianne Curry also does modeling of sorts in publications for example Maxim as #100 on the magazine’s 2005 “Hot 100” & in nude pictures for Playboy in 2006 and 2008. Although she has taken questionable public actions as raging against Black History Month & BET on her blog, Andrianne Curry is also known for her charity work with cancer survivors & animals and now Andrianne Curry has a new project named “Jack Rio”.
