Danielle Fishel was born on 5th May, 1981 in Mesa, AZ, began her career as a commercial actress & child model before making her full-fledged acting debut with a recurring role on "Full House” as a classmate who pressures Stephanie Tanner to get her ears pierced. She was a guest spot on "Harry and the Hendersons" then was hired for one episode of "Boy Meets World” as feminist genius Topanga Lawrence, who both fascinates & intimidates her fellow students, including series star Cory Matthews. Thus charming was Danielle Fishel in the role that she wasn’t only brought back for additional appearances, however soon became a series regular & one of the show's true anchors. Firstly a brainy-but-quirky foil for the lovably chuckleheaded exploits of Cory & buddy Shawn, over the course of the series Danielle Fishel's Topanga proved to be Cory's soulmate & their relationship and ultimate marriage provided much of the arc and heart of the later seasons.

Her dad, Rick, is a medical equipment sales executive and mom, Jennifer, manages Danielle's career. She used to date Lance Bass from *NSYNC, however the constant time apart led to their break up. They are apparently still friends. She attended high school prom with Lance Bass.
